seminars&clinics
Sometimes, before you even meet with a decision maker, you have
to get a large group of people together on the issues. Is everyone
on the same page? What are the most effective strategies for addressing
the issues? Organized groups are persuasive and provide positive
and lasting benefits to ensure the health of the community.
home&community
is here to provide the technical assistance groups need to get all
member of the community together on the issues. We'll help you find
advocates in your area and then work with you to schedule a time
for members of the community to meet and strategize the issues.
We'll schedule site visits to facilitate community
design charettes, or "Getting to the Table" day-long
clinics or half-day seminars
that tackle the housing and
community development topics on site -- topics developed by local
residents and allies. Seminars are small groups of not more than
25 and cover specific topics. Clinics are for larger groups of not
less than 25 nor more than 300 that cover multiple topics. Fees
for charettes are negotiated and fixed. Fees for "Getting to
the Table" range between $0 and $5 per person, on a sliding
scale.
