| If you believe low-income residents should play a key role in developing housing and community development policy and should have access to sustainable and environmentally friendly options in their homes and communities…then we need your support!! |
| A 2012 Donation Appeal: |
Did you know that for only $ 7.50 per month – the oft-quoted cost of a few grande lattes – you can provide dirt and water and (hopefully) a delivery bike for our clients at our Original Green growing sites? That’s more than just mud and wheels!
We’ve got five beds growing and building seven more for spring and summer planting. Our plan includes acquiring another donated site (already identified!) and food deliveries to elderly residents. In addition to the mud, we’ll need seeds, plants, redwood, amendments and kid-size tools. We raised nearly $2,500 for our community food plan in 2011.
That’s a lot, and we are grateful, but we can definitely grow more good with more help! |
We’d love for you to help us continue having a direct impact, by signing up for a recurring donation! These donations are easy to set up and automatically go to your credit card or designated bank account each month. Easy peasy, right?
By signing up for a recurring donation, you can also opt in for a monthly update detailing use of your funds and a seasonal seed pack.
Will you trade a few lattes to help us make mud (and expand our community food plan)? Choose your “latte level” to the right and thank you for your support! |

Jacqueline Nichols, Los Angeles, CA:
It is really important for those of us working to organize communities around housing policy to have information at our fingertips. Before I received your summary of resources and articles about the ³alphabet soup² of housing programs, I found myself looking for the same information in so many different places that I couldn¹t even remember what I¹d already looked at or not. It was really frustrating. I look forward to receiving the other information organized in the same way. |
